rymdem software

What services does rymden software offer?

rymden software develops turnkey HMI solutions tailored to your specific needs.

What are the advantages of your approach?

Because we build software from the ground up, we have more design flexibility — both frontend and backend — than typical HMI toolkits. We can also build software for a wide range of hardware and operating systems.

Which industrial communication protocols do you support?

OPC UA, MQTT and Modbus TCP are supported. Web-based protocols like HTTP, WebSockets and SSE are supported as well.

What kinds of peripherals can be incorporated into the HMI application?

RFID card readers, barcode scanners or other USB or RS-232 devices may be fully integrated into the HMI application.

What about databases?

The Go programming language has excellent support for many database types. SQLite, InfluxDB, MangoDB, MySQL, among many others, may be used.

Is usability testing integral to the design cycle?

Absolutely. Our designs are user-focused and usability testing — testing the design with actual users — is critical to the success of the project.

Who founded rymden software?

rymden software was founded by Carl Bostrom in 2025. He has more than 30 years' experience in the automation industry.

Does rymden software offer any other services?

rymden software is available for design consultation and usability testing. If you prefer not to use our software stack, we may be contracted to produce HMI applications using the HMI package of your choice. We have experience with many standard packages included CODESYS WebVisu, InduSoft WebStudio (now AVEVA), WebIQ, etc.
